Another 4-day week-end. Yoohoo! No way we are staying home during those 4 days, with nice days coming back, let's hit the road. England is not so far from home, it's been a while since Mamma and Papa last went there and their friend Ali is still waiting for them to visit. That's an opportunity we should not miss. And one more new country for me to discover.
A few hours of driving to Calais, hop on the Eurotunnel train with our car and in just 35 minutes we are on the other side of the Channel. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the English landscape, I fell asleep as soon as we drove off the train.
A good night of sleep just after the tunnel, our first English breakfast with sausages, hash browns, scrambled eggs, toasts and juice (in addition to my bottle of milk) and we are off to an early start to our first destination.
Guess where we are! One happy family in front of one of the most famous British monuments.
The London Eye. I fell asleep in my stroller as we were approaching it: strollers are forbidden on this Ferris wheel (even though the gondolas are huge) so we did not get the occasion to ride it and get a view of London from above. Next time.
The clouds in the blue sky over the City of London. It was such a nice afternoon that we stayed outside the whole time.

We found a nice area along the Thames with little shops and a nice sitting area with wood sculptures. I am riding a wood duckie, same as the little yellow rubber ones I have in my bath.
I did not like the little car so much (but I loved the map, I did not let go of it the whole time I played in the area).
Two blond amazons riding their horse.
After a long day walking around London back and forth, we went back to the hotel and enjoyed some good time in the swimming pool there. And even some time in the jacuzzi: my little legs needed that to recover from all the running behind birds by Buckhingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, along the Thames...
