Fourth day of sun in a row, England is not that bad after all, for a first experience, it is a very good one. After the beach and New Forest yesterday, Jo and Ali are making us visit nice typical British cities today.
First stop, Winchester, just North of Southampton. Jo becomes our guide to South England history in the ruins of Wolvesey Castle.
Mamma and Papa think that could have made a nice little house for us when it was still standing. I like this idea, maybe one idea I'll be a princess and live in a big castle.
At least one picture where I am looking at the camera. I had to make an effort, it is not so often that we can take a family picture with such a nice background.
Papa on his throne. Not so sure that's the way they used to sit, but Papa would have made a great king. And I could have been a princess.
On the way back home, we stopped in the nice town of Rye for some more sightseeing. Very narrow streets, cute little houses... and a playground. Mom won a tiger for me playing with a crossow and I got to play with it on swings.
This trip to England turned out to be very enjoyable. I have now visited one more country and I am sure this is not the last one this year. Thank you Jo and Ali for welcoming us.
